It was a huge moment when Joe Biden virtually accepted the Democratic Party’s nomination for president in 2020. Would he be able to get through a 20-minute speech without his brain misfiring and saying something wildly racist and inappropriate?
Judging by the media’s amorous reaction to the speech, you might get the impression that Biden did it. But… if you watch clips of the speech, you could see for yourself that the pile of Swiss cheese that used to be Joe Biden’s brain went haywire at the big finale.
As Biden was wrapping up his inspiring infomercial, he let this line rip:
“There’s never been anything that we’ve been able to accomplish when we’ve done it together.” Ouch! At least he didn’t tell the audience that they “ain’t black” or remind everyone that “poor kids are just as bright as white kids.”
But by every other measure, it was a catastrophe. Biden botched his big moment in the spotlight. Again.
And as this meme notes, Biden will use his “rapist wit” to out-debate Donald Trump next month. Sure he will. Because the debates are totally going to happen, right?
