Why it’s Impossible to Take Democrats Seriously on Russia

A full two years after President Donald Trump personally met with Russian President Vladimir Putin to discuss plans for world domination and restoring Nazi tyranny, Special Counsel Robert Mueller is still digging around for something — anything — that he can use to obstruct the White House.

Keep in mind that there is a sizable amount of Americans who think that first part of that sentence is a completely factual statement…truly amazing.

Democrats have been and will continue to be obsessed with the Russian ghost that made Donald Trump president. It still hasn’t occurred to them that this ghost is actually Hillary Clinton’s utter incompetence as a political candidate, but we digress — the Democratic Party is thoroughly convinced that foreign agents are responsible for this.

At the same time, deep-blue areas like San Francisco are pushing forward with effectively allowing non-citizens to vote. Currently, this is limited to school board decisions, but it’s easy to see where this goes. Next, it will be local and municipal elections. Next, it might be state-wide referendums. Whatever the course is, the logical conclusion is federal elections. And this will be the moment when American democracy truly dies — because there will be nothing uniquely American about it.
