Who is REALLY ‘Above the Law’ in America? It Isn’t Trump…

As Democrats in Congress continue deliberating over whether or not impeaching President Donald Trump will come back to haunt them after it inevitably fails, we keep hearing the same slogan over and over again.

“No one is above the law — even the president.”

Let’s just get this out of the way: this is obviously true. The entire premise of a constitutional republic is that politicians reign with the consent of the governed. This means that anyone and everyone can and should be held accountable when someone steps out of line. This is just as true for a city mayor as it is for the highest office in the land.

And, for the sake of argument, let’s just skip over the idea that Trump is guilty of some nefarious wrongdoing. There is nothing to prove that, but we’ll move on.

Illegal immigrants are, by their very definition, breaking the law. In fact, the very first thing they did on American soil was break the law. Despite this, Democrats continue to call for amnesty for millions of illegal immigrants. This doesn’t exactly mix well with the slogan we keep hearing from them.
