As a wise man once said, a lot of people say they’re going to do some stuff – but pay attention to what they actually do. That will tell you a lot about them.
Barack Obama promised massive job and wealth creation, free health care for everyone, “shovel
ready jobs,” green energy and lots of other amazing stuff. He even promised to heal the planet
and make the oceans stop rising. (He must have done it, since he had the confidence to buy that seaside mansion on Martha’s Vineyard using his public service salary from all those years.)
Hillary Clinton promised… actually, we can’t remember anything she promised. We shut down when she called us a basket of deplorables.
And Bernie Sanders has been promising everyone the sun, the moon, the stars, free health care, free college tuition and free everything (plus, a pony!). Does anyone really believe he’d deliver any of those things?
