Whenever Joe Biden Claims There Were “Zero Scandals” Under Obama…

Former Vice President Joe Biden is running purely as a nostalgia candidate. Because of this, he has to base his entire campaign on the record of his former boss, Barack Obama.

You hear a lot of lies from Biden — that isn’t unique for a Democrat, or really any politician in any category. The biggest and most offensive one, however, is the mantra that the Obama years were 100 percent scandal free. Yeah, tell that to every Tea Party group from 2009 or 2010…

As this image reminds us, the Obama years saw a litany of scandals, including the weaponization of the country’s tax collecting service against groups and individuals the administration didn’t like. Conservative groups applying for tax-exempt status were routinely singled out for extra scrutiny. People who supported right-wing figures like former Representative Ron Paul were labelled as potential domestic terrorists by the Department of Homeland Security.

The Obama years were rife with scandals. The Trump years, by contrast, are dominated by the mainstream media’s war on our perception of reality. Despite the fact that Robert Mueller himself conceded that there is no way to prove that President Donald Trump has a cozy relationship with the Russian government, talking heads are doubling down on this anyway.

All of this is happening while Biden and his supporters in the media work to erase our memory of very recent history.
