What Would a MAGA Hat for Democrats Look Like?

President Donald Trump sits in the White House for a lot of reasons, but one of the biggest ones is his mastery-level branding. When he first entered the Republican Party’s primary with no political experience to speak of, everyone in America already knew who he was. They’ve seen him on TV, and they’ve seen his name plastered on everything from steaks to hotel buildings.

His campaign slogan was beautifully simple: “Make America Great Again.” It’s not overly profound, it’s easy to say, and it feels familiar. In fact, it’s just a slight variation to the slogan Ronald Reagan used in 1980. Nevertheless, the brand practically marketed itself.

Going into 2020, the Democrats are going to need to meet this branding with some of their own. With Bernie Sanders’ first slogan being a mouthful that bordered on being threatening (it was “A Political Revolution is Coming”), it’s fair to say that they need a little bit of work in this department.

We feel like it would be best for Democrats to just cut right to the case in the same way Trump did. Tell your supporters exactly what you want, in the most concise way possible.

Apparently, someone already did the job for you…
