This meme is a few days old, but it’s aged well. Did anyone else have a tense Thanksgiving dinner with their Hillary-supporting relatives there to visit?
Thanksgiving in 2019 was actually really easy to liven up. Anytime there was a lull in the conversation, all you had to do was say, “So… what does everyone think about that impeachment?” Good times.
We’re living in strange times when you sit down to enjoy some turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, pumpkin pie and way too many glasses of red wine… and you end up getting written out of someone’s will because you mentioned that none of Adam Schiff’s witnesses actually had any evidence of a crime to present in his secret basement impeachment hearings.
Maybe things will calm down before Easter, but we doubt it. Family gatherings for a lot of Americans are going to be tense for the next 11 months, until the voters send Trump back to the White House for a second term.
Things will calm down with our daffy relatives after that, right? Right?! Oh, well, at least we’ll save some money on Christmas shopping this year, after that debacle with the cranberry sauce.
