We Have a Winner: This is the Best Nike Meme Yet

As we reported earlier this week, Nike’s controversial decision to make former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick the face of its signature “just do it” campaign spawned an endless supply of memes mocking the decision.

There have been absolutely timeless contributions to this trend, but we believe we’ve found the one meme to rule them all. Naturally, it involves making fun of Hillary Clinton.

We don’t hear much about it now, but Hillary Clinton’s email scandal was a recurring part of the weekly news cycle in 2016. Her decision to use a private server during her time as former President Barack Obama’s Secretary of State rose plenty of eyebrows, and for good reason. Rather than cooperate with investigations into what exactly that server was being used for, all evidence has pointed to the possibility that the twice-failed presidential candidate deleted everything she could.

By now, it should be clear that President Donald Trump isn’t really interested in following through with the “lock her up!” slogan chanted by a large sector of his supporters. Nevertheless, the fact that the irrelevant politician is clearly still not over the election results may have been punishment enough. Memes like this are just icing on the cake.
