We Found Out How Donald Trump Could Win California

Okay, hear us out on this one…

Sure, running as a Republican for just about any elected office is pretty much impossible in the most densely populated parts of California. The Golden State has all but banned conservative thought, and even Democrats in the state face constant pressure to adhere to a rigid political agenda. Being a moderate is basically political suicide.

But remember, this was a state where Ronald Reagan was not only a governor, but a state that voted Reagan into the White House twice. There are a lot of factors that go into this — one of them being that Democrats in the 1980s weren’t nearly as radical as they are today. There’s also a lot to be said about the drastic demographic change that has been allowed to occur in the state.

But considering the state’s sanctuary cities, refusal to work with federal border agents, and constant drumming up of the most radical ideas in the country, there is a sure-fire way for Trump to actually net all of its electoral votes in 2020. All The Donald has to do is renounce his American citizenship — and then continue running for president. This stunning act of bravery — which is beautiful and again, stunning and brave — may be just enough to win over the progressives that dominate the state.
