We Found a New York Times Headline from the Future…

Believe it or not, there was a time when people across America — and across partisan lines — actually subscribed to and read the New York Times with astounding regularity. While the bias of the paper was always noticeable for people who follow this stuff every day, “all the news that’s fit to print” wasn’t a complete lie.

Then, the 2000s happened — and the Times became less of a news outlet and more of a think tank for the Democratic Party. But, it wasn’t obvious at first. Here and there, the paper became more selective about which stories it printed and which it ignored. When Barack Obama ascended to god-like status within the Democratic Party’s ranks, it was all over — the New York Times was no longer an actual “newspaper” — but continued to call itself as much.

Today, the agenda behind the New York Times is more obvious than ever. Its editorial staff is perfectly fine with running completely unverified stories — so long as they cast Republican figures in a negative light. Seeing as they’ve attacked Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh in the same way twice now, we can only expect it to happen again.

Really, this headline is more of a prophecy than it is a meme.
