Was This Aunt Jemima’s Real Mistake?

This Tweet image was making the rounds on Facebook this week, which is why we’re going to go ahead and classify it as a meme. We were unable to locate the original on Twitter, which means either a) it really is a meme that someone created, or b) Twitter censored it for being so danged funny.

Aunt Jemima’s great-grandson has announced that he is furious over Pepsi-owned Quaker Oats deciding to virtue signal his great-grandmother out of existence. Ouch! Didn’t see that coming, did you, SJW cancel culture?

That’s what happens when you just assume that something is “racist” and don’t spend five seconds thinking about it like an adult. It’s just like HBO Max’s decision to take “Gone with the Wind” off of the streaming service — so that people could no longer see the movie for which a black American actress first won an Academy Award. Whoops.

If the SJWs on Twitter are really that worried about racism, then why is Ralph Northam still the Governor of Virginia? Why is Justin Trudeau still in charge up in Canada? Why is Joe “You Ain’t Black” Biden still the Democrats’ 2020 nominee? Well, we all know the answer to those questions.
