Trump Tweets the TRUTH About LGBT Oppression

For a long time, LGBT issues were a stain on the Republican Party’s brand. That ended when the GOP selected Donald Trump to run for president in 2016.

Before Trump, Republicans stood in unison against things like same-sex marriage. And to be fair, many still do. But the fact of the matter is that Trump is the most pro-LGBT president — Republican or Democrat — that America has ever had.

Remember: Barack Obama opposed same-sex marriage right up until he was up for re-election in 2012. Both of the Clintons are on record taking the same position, which they both of course later changed to fit in with the times.

Trump, by contrast, began his 2016 campaign as an LGBT advocate. He famously told Caitlyn Jenner that she could use whichever bathroom she pleases if she visits his hotels.

This tweet really shows how the President feels about LGBT issues. And he’s right — if you really care about the plight this group faces around the world, you shouldn’t start with the United States. Sure, some states have taken questionable stances on bathrooms or whatnot. But gays are being publicly executed in the Arab world.

What a bigot the President is…
