This is Seriously How Democrats Think Voting Rights Work

Conservative Americans have been raising the issue of voter fraud for a long time now, and the only time Democrats seem to care is when one of their candidates loses in red states — like Georgia, for example.

Most of the time, pundits write the issue off as simply non-existent — despite instances of deceased individuals being on Democratic Party voting rolls being reported numerous times. They also often take issue with calls for identification requirements, claiming that such a minimal requirement barres low income people from being able to participate in American democracy.

Let’s gloss over the fact that people who are too incompetent to take a short trip to a government building and get their pictures taken probably shouldn’t be trusted with picking who gets to be in charge of basically everything…

It was also once considered a fringe claim that non-citizens were voting. Now districts in places like California are allowing non-citizens to vote in local elections. Suddenly, it doesn’t seem so far-fetched anymore, does it?
