Democrats have a bit of problem right now. For the past two years and change, they have latched onto the idea that Donald Trump is President of the United States only because he got super special favors from the Russians. They have justified their opposition on this idea and little else. This is why it’s so hard for Democrats in Congress to move on now that President Trump has been exonerated of any collusion.
Rep. Jerry Nadler is having a hard time coping with the Mueller report. Such a hard time, in fact, that he thought it best to issue more subpoenas, effectively keeping the Mueller report at the top of his party’s agenda. And as this image perfectly suggests, this is more than just beating a dead horse at this point. Right now, we’re seeing Nadler and other Democrats like him milking a cow that’s been dead for days.
Now, we’re not usually in the business of telling Democrats have to gain power, but if it turns out your main strategy isn’t working, it’s usually a good idea to try something else.
