The Only Way AOC is Actually Helping Anyone…

Another day, another dumb story about the mainstream media’s favorite congressperson…

New York Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has cemented her status as the thought leader for the Democratic Party. In her own words, she’s “the boss”, and she gets to make the big girl decisions. Not House Speaker Nancy Pelosi — who has been heading the Democratic Party in Congress for over a decade — AOC, who was sworn in in January.

Here’s the thing about AOC — she’s an idiot. Now, we don’t mean that to say “we disagree with her, therefore she’s unintelligent.” No. She’s actually stupid. As much flack as we give the aforementioned Pelosi and others like Barack Obama, Dianne Feinstein, and others — we do actually acknowledge that these are competent people. They’re not dumb, they’re just wrong. AOC is a different story.

During a recent Congressional hearing on the power of big banks, AOC got to ask the CEO of Wells Fargo a couple of questions. These questions were obviously written in a way that follows the progressive pattern of demonizing private industry, but they took another step into the “dumb” category.

AOC asked, in all seriousness, if Wells Fargo should pay for environmental damages resulting fro the leakage of the North Dakota pipeline. As the bank’s CEO said, they not only have nothing to do with the pipeline other than financing — there has been no leakage to speak of. There was also a bit about private banks caging children, which the bank also had nothing to do with.

Drink it in, New Yorkers — this is what happens when you elect a 29-year-old bartender.
