The Most Cringe-Worthy Liberal Apology You’ll See Today

Liberal content creators are clearly beginning to run out of ideas…

This picture, obviously taken during an unspecified anti-Trump demonstration at some point between the 2017 and now, shows a young woman holding up a sign apologizing to the rest of the world for 2016’s election result.

Clearly, the point here is to highlight the fact that President Donald Trump won the election despite losing the popular vote — and thus delegitimize his status. Once again, this is a lazy attack on the Electoral College, and represents a gaping misunderstanding of why it was put in place to begin with.

The Constitution’s Framers understood that, in the case of federal elections, heavily populated states could easily overpower those with smaller populations and disproportionately advance their interests. To prevent this, the Framers created the Electoral College to ensure that every state truly did have a valid place within the federal framework.

If this content creator had it any other way, hard-left California would decide just about every election.
