The Media Actually Believed This “Nazi” Conspiracy Theory

If there’s anything that we learned from the reaction to the Jeffrey Epstein case and after two years of phony Trump-Russia hoaxes, it’s that there is a group of people that are allowed to make their crazy ideas public: the mainstream media.

Everyone else is called crazy for questioning the mainline narrative. This is why people like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is forgiven or even celebrated for saying that global warming is going to destroy the planet in 12 years, but that random guy on Twitter who thinks Barack Obama’s birth certificate is fake is evidence that all right wingers are idiots.

Well, the media actually put out this conspiracy theory laid out by the Blue Checkmark to the left. Yes — President Donald Trump was actually signaling white nationalists that he is on their side because he had the flag lowered to honor the victims of a white nationalist’s mass shooting on a particular day. That’s right — even Trump’s calendar is racist.

What we will point out is that, yes, white nationalists have used the number “88” to subversively express their support for one another. It’s a dumb thing that dumb people do. But to suggest that Trump is participating in this in this way is almost even dumber.
