Democrats in Congress — and their supporters if we’re being completely honest — are a lot like children. You could make the argument that this is a literal description, given the fact that the Democratic Party tends to enjoy near-universal support from people under the age of 18. Believe us when we say that this is no accident.
The mainstream media likes to pretend that the impeachment inquiry going through Congress right now is a breaking development, but it’s been years in the making. Outlets like the Washington Post and Politico have been reporting on Democratic representatives pushing for President Donald Trump to be removed from office since before — that’s right, before — he took the oath in January 2017. This is an effort that’s been ongoing since it was clear that Hillary Clinton was going to be denied her turn to rule the world.
Remember: even Nancy Pelosi was against impeachment at first, correctly understanding that Trump would have to defend his position in 2020 regardless. But she’s no longer in control — the crybabies are. They want vengeance, because they aren’t used to being told “no” yet.
