Some Things Are Just More Important in 2020

Here’s a hilarious meme graph that shows off the importance of various things in our lives, in relation to the ridiculous official overreaction to the pandemic. While bras, shaving and cars dropped off in importance over the course of this year, toilet paper, internet use and sweatpants saw sharp increases.

Coffee, of course, remained a flat line that neither increased or decreased in importance.

And the masks. Good grief. The narrative on masks has been all over the map, all year long.

First, they told us that we’re all too stupid to wear masks and we would die from wearing masks improperly because we don’t all have advanced degrees in Masketology from a medical institute. That was lie because they were trying to hoard masks for hospitals.

Then they told us masks were just super important because of risk mitigation and it suddenly became mandatory to wear a mask – even when you’re home alone and taking a shower or mowing your lawn.

Did you know that just two weeks ago, the Centers for Disease Control announced that wearing masks doesn’t seem to impact the spread of the virus at all? And yet the masks are still mandatory in many states.
