Shameless: Charlie Hebdo Thanks God for Killing “Nazis” in Texas

There are so many things wrong with this image, it’s actually hard to unpack in a single article — but let’s give it a try anyway.

Firstly, if the name Charlie Hebdo sounds familiar, it’s because its name was blasted all over the media after the French satire magazine was brutally attacked by ISIS sympathizers for printing a caricature of Muhammad — the prophet of Islam. It was this very event that sparked a Muhammad drawing contest to take place in Texas, where a follow-up attack was thwarted.

Clearly, the magazine is no stranger to offensive material. It’s also apparent the artists have no sense of appreciation for how Americans — Texans in particular — stood up for their right to free speech in the wake of the horrific attack.

This image suggests that Hurricane Harvey was a punishment for the red state’s support for President Donald Trump. Unfortunately for Charlie Hebdo, they picked on the wrong people for the wrong reason.

Let’s set aside the fact that the Trump administration is far removed from any Third Reich wannabes — Houston, the city hit the hardest by Harvey, by-and-large supported Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential election.

Once again, the left shows its tendency to eat its own for the sake of a few clicks.
