Remember When Obama Put Children in Cages…And NO ONE Cared?

It might be inaccurate to say that “no one” cared about immigrant children being separated from their families illegally crossing the southern border in 2014, but it was hardly the media spectacle that it is today.

It’s worth reminding everyone that former President Barack Obama was one of the biggest deporters to ever occupy the Oval Office — perhaps one of the few things he actually did right. But after the U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that it was unlawful to detain children, the Obama Administration was forced to house children and their families separately at the border. The Trump Administration, seeing no other option, continued this practice after the transition.

But of course, the mainstream media loves to pretend that history actually began in 2016, and every disreputable thing the federal government does is actually Donald Trump’s doing.

So here it is…former Obama Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson walking around those same cages that President Trump supposedly erected.

Facts are pretty annoying, aren’t they?
