Remember all of Obama’s Post-Election Rallies?

According to this post, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama fit the criteria for modern day dictators — although that probably wasn’t the point of this misinformed meme.

President Donald Trump is under considerable fire for his recent rally in Phoenix, Arizona, but mainstream media outlets and the scores of liberals who adhere to their every word have proved they have short memories.

Just about every modern president has performed campaign-style rallies after assuming their position in office. While arguably out-of-place, this practice has not been confined to a single party, much less to a single president.

Barack Obama did this so much, he earned himself the nickname “campaigner-in-chief” from several conservative critics like Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh. In doing so, the former president took the opportunity to push his legislative agenda while simultaneously trying to discredit his political opponents.

How is this different from what President Trump is doing? Well, Obama didn’t criticize the media that much, but then again they appeared to offer him the same treatment. It’s certainly true that Trump has a tendency to hit below the belt at times, but pretending he’s breaking some sort of rule by holding rallies is ignorant at best.
