Oh, Look — It’s Joe Biden’s 2020 Running Mate!

Stacey Abrams made a very confusing announcement a few days ago. Joe Biden’s vice-presidential vetting team still hasn’t called her for an interview yet. Not that she was desperately lobbying for the job or anything!

Far from it! Abrams was simply doing all those television interviews and declaring that it would be a “slap in the face” to all black women if Joe Biden doesn’t chose some particular black woman for his running mate. (We don’t think these people know what a “slap in the face” is, come to think of it. Not being chosen is not the same thing as a literal “slap in the face.”)

But Biden didn’t necessarily need to pick Stacey Abrams. You know, any particular black woman would do. Still… she’s confused that her phone is not ringing.

That’s probably because the writing is on the wall and Biden has now narrowed his VP short list down considerably. He’s probably going to pick either Karen Warren of Massachusetts, or Karen Klobuchar of Minnesota. Either way, it’ll be a Karen, and not Stacey Abrams.
