NY Times Attack on Hannity Ends with Terrific Self-Own

The “Who Killed Hannibal?” meme based on a skit from the Eric Andre Show makes yet another appearance. The nice thing about this meme is that it’s so endlessly reusable when talking about how our reckless garbage media does real harm to patriotic Americans while never taking responsibility for it.

In this latest iteration of “Who Killed Hannibal,” the shooter is Ginia Belafante of the New York Times. She wrote a hit piece against Sean Hannity of Fox News and basically accused Hannity of downplaying coronavirus, and the result was that Hannity got one of his own supporters killed.

Yet as Twitterers (is that a word?) quickly revealed, Belafante herself was downplaying coronavirus before Hannity was talking about it. She downplayed the seriousness of the virus herself, as all of the mainstream media did because they were busy calling President Trump a racist for halting incoming planes from China.

Anyway, the cruise guy took his cruise, got the virus and sadly passed away. What Belafante failed to tell her readers was that the guy left for the cruise before Hannity “downplayed” it. It was nothing but a fake news hit job. The mainstream media, including the NY Times, was way more culpable in the guy’s death than Hannity could possibly have been – but Hannity gets the blame.
