No Need to Panic, Toilet Paper Hoarders

Oh, wait. Maybe toilet paper hoarders should panic after all, based on the “Office” logic in this meme. What’s up with the insane run on toilet paper, everybody?

We did a tour of three separate “big box” stores near the Facts Not Memes headquarters over the weekend and sure enough — all of the toilet paper, rice and ketchup had been bought out in every location by Corona-Flu panic shoppers.

Everything else was there in sufficient supply. Just the toilet paper, rice and ketchup aisles looked like a tornado had gone through. It was a total wipeout.

It makes sense when you think about it. If your entire survival bunker cache of food consists of rice and ketchup… you’ll probably need a lot of toilet paper, right? Maybe? Actually, it doesn’t make any sense at all.

The one thing that does make sense, however, is this meme. Toilet paper hoarders beware, because those of us who have thought this Corona-Flu through a bit more than you have are stocking up on something else.

Not that we’re encouraging violence against toilet paper looters. ‘Cause we’re not.
