Newsweek is Still Fantasizing About “Madam President Clinton”

Newsweek, a journalistic entity which has lost essentially all of its relevance even among progressive circles, briefly landed itself back in the spotlight by tweeting out an article written three months prior.

The article in question doubles down on the leftist fantasy that Hillary Clinton — despite losing handily to Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential election — still has a legitimate path to the White House.

The supporting argument isn’t surprising. According to the brilliant authors over at Newsweek, Robert Mueller’s investigation into possible collusion between the Russian government and the Trump campaign could invalidate the election results, and give Hillary Clinton a de facto win.

It’s basically the same narrative we’ve been hearing for over a year now.

The incredible thing about this tweet is that the article in question was penned in October 2017 — hardly relevant in January 2018. Apparently, this leftist fantasy of a second Clinton presidency knows no time limit.
