Nation’s Toilet Paper Crisis Suddenly Averted

Sometimes the idea behind a meme is so brilliant, we all wonder why we didn’t think of it first. Check out the “Eureka!” factor in this meme, for example, which has a brilliant solution to America’s sudden toilet paper crisis.

As you’ve probably noticed already, some jerks bought all the TP. Like… literally… all the TP. If you’ve tried to buy toilet paper recently in many parts of the country, you may have encountered bare shelves at the store. Because dumb people are scared of the Wuhan-Flu, so they bought something they won’t be able to eat if they end up quarantined.

And unless you own a parakeet, the New York Times has probably not had any relevance in your life for many, many years.

Proving once again that memes are an educational force for good in the universe, here’s the solution! A subscription to the New York Times can save you money and address the nation’s critical toilet paper shortage at the same time.

You may have already spotted the obvious downside to this, however. If we all buy subscriptions to the New York Times because we didn’t make it to Costco before the TP jerks… the New York Times will probably survive for a few more years.

It’s a sacrifice we might be willing to make.
