Mr. Rogers Isn’t Going to Let His Neighborhood Burn Down

You know who’s not allowing any rioting or looting to take place in his neighborhood? Mr. Rogers and his AK-47, at least in this meme.

If there’s a bright spot in all this current craziness going on in America right now, it’s that the importance of the Second Amendment has suddenly become clear to millions of people who used to be in favor of gun control. We’re not hearing very many arguments in favor of gun-grabbing right now!

Who needs an AR-15 “assault weapon?” There’s no good reason for a person to have a gun that holds more than five scary bullets, right?

Um… oh, wait.

We just can’t get enough of watching these videos and memes of store owners facing off against massive hordes of looters and causing them to suddenly scramble for their lives when they see that the store owner is strapped. (A close second is all of the “brick bounce-back” videos of looters who give themselves concussions.)

You know what neighborhoods are having a beautiful day in the neighborhood right now? The neighborhoods where armed patriots are just standing around with the guns. The looters are avoiding those neighborhoods.
