Mike Pence and Other Permanent Politicians Just Don’t Get It

To the surprise of almost no one, Vice President Mike Pence bent the knee. He announced prior to the joint session of Congress that he would not try to intervene and save the Republic from a stolen election. He’s on Team Biden and that’s that.

After the politicians had to scurry into their spider holes in fear a couple of hours later, Pence issued a statement that you can see in the chyron in this meme: An attack on our capitol will not be tolerated.

And no, it’s not the capitol of Mike Pence or any of the other swamp creatures that want to destroy our democracy. It’s OUR capitol.

And “attack?” Please.

No Capitol Police officers were killed and no Members of Congress or the media were harmed. And to all of the “conservatives” now squealing that, “This is not how our system works” please be quiet.

Americans have tried for two months to peacefully petition Congress, the courts and the various state legislatures with a redress of their grievances over the 2020 election. None of the institutions that were supposed to protect them were courageous enough to do their sworn duty. When you take “peaceful” off the table, you leave the people no choice.
