Meme Suggests Doctors are Criminals

Since the healthcare debate was revived with Senators Lindsay Graham and Bill Cassidy spearheading the GOP’s third attempt at “repeal and replace”, the left is once again mobilized in spread complete misinformation on the topic.

The image to the left is one of the most egregious examples, suggesting that doctors and pharmacists are somehow committing a criminal act by asking to be compensated for their services.

Ironically, a logical examination of the doctor-patient relationship reveals the opposite to be true. If a physician is coerced into performing a service free of charge, isn’t that closer to being theft than a fair exchange of goods and services?

It’s true that America’s healthcare system needs some changes, but overhauling it as a government service is not the answer. Perhaps no one has made this case better than Kentucky Senator Rand Paul. Check out his response in the video below.
