Mainstream Media Torn Apart Over Kevin Spacey Coverage

Infowars editor and conservative YouTube personality Paul Joseph Watson isn’t letting the mainstream media getting away with this one.

After dropping a historic sidestep to soften the blow over being accused of sexually molesting a minor, mainstream media outlets such as the BBC and ABC News were perplexed over why Kevin Spacey’s outing as a gay man was generating so much animosity.

Perhaps the best people to ask are none other than the gay community at large. Spacey, in a bizarre attempt to somehow excuse his behavior, decided that now was as good of a time as any to announce what many in the media and beyond already knew — that he is living as a gay man. This comes after decades of concerted efforts by the LGBT community to denounce rumors that homosexuality and pedophilia are somehow connected.

This is why people are angry, BBC News. Aside from some fringe elements, virtually no one is taking issue with the fact that Spacey is gay. As suggested above, the actor’s sexuality is hardly news — perhaps the least surprising outing since Ricky Martin.

This is how the legacy media is continuing to dig its own grave — by doing as much sidestepping as Spacey himself to maintain credibility with its progressive-leaning readership.
