Liberals: WWII Vets Were the ‘Original Antifa’

Most of the time, memes popping up on leftist pages are misguided attempts at politically correct humor and virtue signaling. Other times, they make outright vile comparisons to legitimize their delusions. This image is without a doubt the latter.

Antifa, which is essentially a leftist militia at this point, scored itself another 15 minutes of fame over the weekend after they clashed with degenerates of another sort — namely white supremacists and neo-Nazis in Charlottesville. Instead of refuting the arguments made by those protesting the removal of a Confederate statue, dissent quickly turned into violence.

You would think it’d be easy for liberals in the media and the political sphere to condemn such actions. After all, the Democratic Party probably does not want to be associated with a group that routinely vandalizes property and physically assaults people they disagree with. Predictably, all we’ve heard from the establishment left is silence.

Facebook groups sympathizing with leftist causes crossed the line with this image. While it’s true America’s soldiers were sent into World War II to liberate Europe from Nazi tyranny, they did so without oppressing the people they intended to help.

Equating Antifa to the Greatest Generation is as inaccurate as it is disgusting.
