For years, Democratic politicians and left-wing activists have been justifying their support for abortion on the grounds that fetuses aren’t really children. This picture takes that sentiment to another level.
The “party of science” tells us that abortion is okay because, well, it’s just a clump of cells — not a full-fledged human life like the presumptive mother. It’s based on this understanding that we’re told that the “abortion is murder” mantra used by the other side is just patently ridiculous.
The sign right here may only be one example, but it’s reflective of the general sentiment we’re seeing from the left right now. Sure, we shouldn’t expect people who are this militantly anti-life to view pregnancies as unexpected blessings as the majority of Americans do, but referring to living human beings as “parasites” is pretty telling.
Remember, this is the same cohort of people that tell us that healthcare should be a human right because everyone deserves a chance to live. Apparently, this is only true for people who pay taxes — because of course it is.
