The Black Lives Matter movement grabbed seemingly every headline when it took the country by storm in 2014. Naturally, the left-wing political establishment was happy to co-opt it for its own gain as quickly as possible.
Today, Black Lives Matter is a phrase uttered by every wannabe presidential candidate. Democrats are expected to virtue signal their support for the cause at every turn. Even Bernie Sanders, who is regarded as a hero among the far-left, was interrupted at one of his 2016 events for allegedly failing to virtue signal hard enough.
Here’s the problem — liberals don’t actually give a damn about black people. And we’re not just talking about their support for the welfare trap that keeps many black Americans stuck below the poverty line. They literally love the idea of murdering black children.
By and large, blacks account for a sizable chunk of abortions performed in the United States. Abortion services are championed in neighborhoods with large black populations. Despite this, out of wedlock pregnancies continue to plague these communities. Wasn’t abortion supposed to solve this problem?
