In the run-up to the presidential election in 2016, then-candidate Donald Trump raised the alarm of election fraud — warning that votes can and have been fabricated in the past.
Responding to this, Hillary Clinton, the Democrats, and their allies in the mainstream media said this was simply ridiculous. America’s electoral system is fool-proof, they suggested — there was no way that an outside entity could influence the result of an election.
Then Trump won, and the narrative flipped around overnight.
Even now, weeks after Special Counsel Robert Mueller admitted that President Trump simply cannot be charged with a crime and that there was no criminal activity to be found, we’re still hearing about how Russia won the election for him every day.
The truth is, however, that conservatives are just as worried about foreign interference in our elections as anyone else could be. The difference is that the worry is on illegal immigrants. And with Democrats resisting any attempts to mandate identification be presented at the booth, these concerns are very justified.
Apparently, Democrats only care about this when they think they’re going to lose.
