Liberal Claims Cheese is More Regulated Than Guns

Think about the last time you checked out at the grocery store. For the sake of this argument, let’s say your basket was filled with some of the items on this list: cheese, wine, and meat in particular.

Assuming you had a competent cashier, getting your items bagged and paid for probably didn’t take too long. It was likely the easiest part of your shopping excursion, aside from maybe the trip home. This is because all you had to do was hand over your cash or card, and you went about the rest of your day.

According to the image on the left, this wasn’t the case. Instead, you had to pass a rigorous background check — because you never know what could happen if a wheel of cheese ended up in the wrong hands.

This is more or less the logic coming from left-wing meme pages in reaction to the latest mass shooting event, which took place in Texas — and ended thanks to the heroic efforts of an armed civilian. Firearms are dangerous objects, and they are universally treated as such by law abiding citizens — especially gun owners themselves.
