LEGEND: Restaurant Owner Finds a Way Around Newsom’s Lockdown Order

2020 is a year in which we are continuously reminded that not all heroes wear capes. The owner of Eat At Joe’s in Redondo Beach, CA has had it up to his eyeballs with California’s ridiculous and hypocritical Governor – Nancy Pelosi’s Nephew. So, Joe turned the front of his diner into a giant meme.

You probably remember that Pelosi’s Nephew was recently called out for dining at “The French Laundry,” a gourmet Napa Valley restaurant that’s close to Nancy Pelosi’s palatial vineyard. The Governor’s meal with California health officials cost about $15,000, not including the reported $12,000 wine bill for the happy group.

And then the governor lied about it at first, claiming that the meal was eaten outdoors on the patio. Such a liar.

Anyway, Joe Filkosky has owned Eat at Joe’s since 1969 and like most restaurant owners, he’s on the brink of losing everything because of the stupid coronavirus lockdowns in California. So now, Eat at Joe’s is still open in defiance of the lockdowns – and he’s rebranded himself as “The French Laundry” as you can see here. Complete with “Patio Dining!”

(We recommend the John Wayne Special if you stop by for breakfast, or Manny’s Onion Burger for lunch.)
