Left Resorts to Horror Movie Tactics to Discredit Trumpcare

Despite the horrifically misleading information presented in this meme, it’s hard not to love this image for what it is.

The meme, shared by the cringeworthy Occupy Democrats Facebook Page, has everything you want from a leftist platform. The Capitol Building is shown standing in front of a terrifying thunderstorm in the dead of night. The takeaway message is typed in bright red font just in case you forgot to be scared into believing Republicans are going to sneak into your home and kill you in your sleep.

Based on the content typed in yellow font, you’re supposed to believe that the healthcare debate is a battle between greedy private sector actors and virtuous Democratic congressman.

But before we go ahead and give them this, we need to ask ourselves a very important question. If the healthcare debate is really as simple as this, why did virtually all insurance companies publicly support the Affordable Care Act? Could it have anything to do with the fact that the law mandated that every American buy health insurance?

Obamacare is on its way out, one way or another. Giving tax breaks to companies that actually produce healthcare products is a proven way to stimulate innovation and ultimately bring costs down in the long-term.
