Ladies and Gentlemen: The So-Called “Party of Science”…

Here’s a quick litmus test for you: is a fetal heart part of a fetus’ body, or the body of the woman carrying that fetus?

If you answered that the heart is part of the fetus’ body, congratulations: you probably passed the fifth grade. If you understand that gender is biological and that there are only two of them, we extend our congratulations even further: you probably made it through kindergarten at some point. Be proud of these monumental accomplishments.

For the party that pays so much lip service to science, Democrats sure are inconsistent about their attention to the subject.

It’s very common for Democratic politicians to refer to climate skeptics as “climate change deniers.” But, in the same breath, they will lecture you against “gendering” your discussions about abortion, reminding you that “men can get pregnant too” and that there is a such thing as a “female penis.”

Perhaps its time for us to start playing the same game. Instead of “pro-choice”, we should use “fetal life deniers.”

Sure, it’s annoying and pretentious, but we’re just playing fair at this point.
