Just a Reminder Not to Call the Cops for Trivial Stuff

Here we have a meme of “BBQ Becky” calling the cops on her neighbors, probably for not socially distancing enough to suit her.

For those who don’t remember, the BBQ Becky lady was a woman who called 911 when she spotted a black family having a barbecue near her. They weren’t actually doing anything wrong – it was just a black family with small children having a barbecue.

But that’s an oh-so-tolerant liberal for you. Their knee-jerk reaction to everything is to call in government employees with guns if they spot something that they think is illegal.

For example, in Riverside, California, a city which Hillary Clinton handily won in 2016, people have started calling 911 whenever they hear their neighbors cough. That’s all. They hear a neighbor cough on the other side of the fence, and they call the cops.

The Riverside PD had to put out a public notice to stop calling 911 when you hear someone cough. This isn’t a movie where the government will swoop in arrest someone for coughing, just because there’s a silly little disease going around.

To all the BBQ Becky’s out there: Stop calling the cops already, it’s allergy season!
