Joint Committee Agrees: Joe Biden Is NOT President-Elect

We find ourselves, once again, in total agreement with a squirrel in a meme. That… probably says more about us than it does about the squirrel.

Anyway, this grumpy squirrel refuses to say, “President Elect,” meaning that he is certain that Joe Biden is not the president-elect. Do you know why the grump squirrel refuses to acknowledge Joe Biden as the president-elect?

Spoiler alert: It’s because Joe Biden is not the president-elect!

Even the Joint Congressional Committee for Inaugural Ceremonies (JCCIC) agrees that Joe Biden is not the president-elect. When the committee met a few days ago, it voted down its first resolution, which was supposed to acknowledge that Joe Biden is the president-elect. How do you like them apples?

Under the law, no one is the president-elect until after the electors have been seated to the Electoral College. And that can’t happen until after all of the disputes, including that incredible 18-state lawsuit in the Supreme Court, are resolved.

Say it along with the grump squirrel, everyone: Joe Biden is NOT the president elect (and never will be).
