Joe Biden’s Super Tuesday Showing in a Nutshell

Now this is a great meme that encapsulates the 2020 Super Tuesday Democrat primary. And it’s even funnier because the image is from the ‘classic’ film “Weekend at Bernie’s.”

While President Donald Trump is enjoying record primary turnout in an uncontested Republican race, the Democrats have been in a panic. Crusty curmudgeon Bernie Sanders looked like he was on the verge of running away from the nomination before Super Tuesday. And by “running” we actually mean doddering along slowly like the incredibly old man that Bernie is.

So, the DNC pulled its usual shenanigans by rigging the primary in order to block Bernie. At least they’re smart enough to know that nominating a literal communist dictator would spell their doom in November.

Pete Buttigieg had no reason at all to drop out before Super Tuesday. His campaign was backed by a team of Wall Street billionaires, so he theoretically could have stayed in the race all the way to the end. Amy Klobuchar was down but not completely out.

But instead, the DNC forced them to surrender and endorse Joe Biden, to try to keep Bernie from winning. And that’s this Super Tuesday meme in a nutshell!
