If you watched the second Democratic primary debate — which was really the only one that mattered — you might have had a case of deja vu when the candidates began talking about healthcare.
While almost every progressive on the stage raised their hand to support a Medicare for All plan, which would essentially wipe out private insurance for millions of Americans, former Vice President Joe Biden stood out from the pack. His healthcare plan isn’t quite as radical, but it does remind of us something.
“If you like your insurance, you can keep it.”
Now…where have we heard that before…?
Oh, that’s right — from Joe Biden himself whenever he had to stump for former President Barack Obama’s idiotic plan, which forced everyone to buy insurance even if they didn’t want it. Spoiler alert: not everyone was able to keep their insurance. It was a lie, and everyone eventually found out about it.
Once again, Joe Biden proves that he doesn’t actually have any ideas.
