Ilhan Omar May Have Really Stepped in it This Time

Congresswoman Ilhan Omar (D-MN), the Somali refugee who has been credibly accused of marrying her own brother to commit immigration fraud, student loan fraud and tax fraud, gave another one of her epic speeches this week. And for once, she may have actually gotten herself into trouble with her inflammatory rhetoric.

In addition to yammering about defunding the police in front of the Minnesota State House, which was bad enough, Omar stated what you see in this meme. She called for dismantling the political and economic systems of the US.

That’s certainly not any worse than the time when she called for white genocide at a rally (which everyone ignored for some reason). But Republicans are now calling for Ilhan Omar to resign from Congress after this speech.

Every elected official takes an oath to defend the Constitution. And by calling for the “political system” in the US to be dismantled, Ilhan Omar is in direct violation of her oath of office. She has technically canceled herself, but of course… we all know she’s not going anywhere unless she’s forced out.
