If Jesus Really Was a “Socialist”, He Would Have NEVER Done This

It’s something you hear from the left all the time. That’s right, the people who hate religion will also use its most iconic figures to validate their stupid ideology.

“You know, Jesus was sort of a socialist,” that smug atheist you spent five minutes talking to at a party once said, before saying the same thing to every other person that was unfortunate to walk up to him…

Here’s the thing: you can interpret religious text to mean a lot of things. We’re talking about words that have been written, translated, re-translated, and re-translated again. Scripture is hard to understand, which sadly leaves a lot of room for the imagination in some ways. But, religion isn’t our lane, so we’ll leave that to who or whatever you get your spiritual guidance from. The truth still stands: religion can and has been bent and twisted to justify any and all political positions you can think of.

But, calling Jesus a socialist is just patently impossible. Everyone knows that socialists can never quite figure out a way to keep people from starving to death. Jesus, on the other hand, caught thousands of fish just by looking at the water — definitely not a socialist move.
