How to End the “Defund the Police” Movement with One Simple Meme

We can get a chuckle out of this meme today, because the day when it comes true is probably not too far into the future. It’s only a matter of time before fed-up police departments stop answering the calls from politicians who want to defund them.

“Sorry, Skippy, you’re on your own! We just don’t have the resources to spare right now since you defunded the department. But if you’d like, I can schedule an appointment for a social worker to stop by next week.”

The backlash that Democrats are going to face for this disastrous policy is probably going to be tremendous. The stunning hypocrisy of the Defund the Police geniuses is also tough to fathom.

Look at how many black police chiefs have resigned from their jobs this summer – or even this week – because they’ve been labeled as “white supremacists.” The police chief and the entire command structure of the Rochester, NY police department resigned this week.

Everyone keeps saying you should vote like your life depends on it this November. That’s usually an exaggeration, but this year it feels like it might be true.
