How Democrats are Waiting for the Full Mueller Report Right Now

Attorney General Barr was very clear in his summary of Robert Mueller’s investigation: President Donald Trump didn’t collaborate with anyone to “steal” the election from Hillary Clinton, and there’s really nothing anyone can do about obstruction of justice. After all, it’s hard to obstruct justice when no crime has been committed.

But Democrats like House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff aren’t convinced. Or, maybe they are, but their political careers desperately depend on keeping this issue alive. Either way, they’re going to look like fools when the full report is finally submitted.

Once news of Trump’s exoneration hit the headlines, House Democrats demanded to see the report for themselves. And, President Trump agreed — the Justice Department will release everything they legally can. Special Counsel Robert Mueller himself is helping the department redact what is necessary, which is perfectly in line with standard operating procedure.

In other words, Democrats are actually getting everything they want here, save for the end result: something to impeach President Trump with.

No matter what the full report says, we can already expect it to not be enough.
