Historians Now Officially Owe Richard Nixon an Apology

Some of us have spent years saying what this meme dares to point out. Barack Obama’s unlawful spying on the Trump campaign, the Trump family, the Trump transition team and the Trump presidency is so scandalous that it makes Watergate look like a toddler caught with his hand in a cookie jar by comparison.

When you stack up the list of crimes that Team Obama committed against Donald Trump, his family and his associates, Watergate doesn’t even register as vaguely scandalous. And as minor as Watergate was to Obamagate by comparison, Richard Nixon still had the personal decency to resign — rather than put the country through an impeachment.

Something tells us that Barack Obama won’t be offering an apology to the American people for committing treason by betraying the voters and trying to undo a national election. Think we’re wrong?

A reporter would have to actually ask Obama questions about the greatest scandal in American history before we could hope to hear an apology from him. And that ain’t happening! Another thing that, sadly, probably won’t happen: Indictments followed by public trials and actual punishments.
