Once again, we’re forced to talk about Hillary Clinton…
The famously twice-failed presidential candidate has been making as many media appearances as humanly possible over the past few months, ostensibly to promote memoirs she wrote alongside daughter Chelsea Clinton. Obviously, these appearances included her reflections on the Democratic Party’s presidential primary race, as well as the latest on all things Trump. We can skip over that second part, because she’s essentially saying the same things she’s always said since losing in 2016: it’s not her fault, Trump’s mean and racist, blah blah blah…
What everyone’s waiting for now is a definitive answer on whether or not Clinton still wants to jump into the race, and we all know the answer: of course she does. Clinton still feels wronged by what happened in 2016, even though she was soundly rejected outside of Los Angeles, New York City, and Florida’s Palm Beach County. The rest of the electoral map is a sea of red.
Curiously, Clinton is under the impression that the American people deeply want her to run. We have just one question: who the hell is she talking about?
Clinton is almost as unpopular with Democrats as she is with Republicans. Her own support base saw her loss as embarrassing — how could she flop the easiest presidential election in American history?
That doesn’t seem to matter, because all she hears are the voices inside her own head.
