Feminism Can’t Be “Cured”, Apparently

Sometimes, feminists set themselves up too perfectly to pass up an epic trolling opportunity like this, and the Daily Wire’s Ben Shapiro was happy to play ball.

Lena Dunham, perhaps one of the most miserable people to ever crawl her way in front of a camera, took to Twitter recently to address the apparently massive problem afflicting the feminist community — “bros” trying to cure them.

Without digging too deep into Dunham’s mind, we can only assume she’s referring to the idea of young men trying to “red pill” potential love interests into rejecting feminism and intersectional politics.

In expressing this sentiment, she accidentally leaves herself open to suggesting that what certain members of the right have been saying for a long time — that feminism is a mental cancer. Sure, the wording is a bit harsh, but not without reason.

While once being the ideology espoused by Americans pushing for equality under the law, the feminist label is now far more associated with individuals who believe men should be subjugated for past misgivings. These are people who dismiss opportunities for political discourse, and instead retreat into their “safe spaces” to be protected from other opinions.

Shapiro is right — it really is terminal…
